Container Photos

There was much rejoicing and shouting the day the shipping container arrived with our AIDS prevention curriculum. It contained 30,000 curriculum books, printed in full-color, for our students in Qwa Qwa. When the young people received their books, their faces lit up as they saw that the books were printed in color for the first time ever.

Also on the container was a pair of wave runners and riding lawnmowers which we will sell to help pay for the next container shipment. To everyone who was involved in the purchase of these big items, the shipping of the container, and the printing of the curriculum... Africa thanks you!

Training Pastors

We recently held our first pastoral training seminar of 2008. Pastor Tim and Rhonda Forsthoff of Cornerstone Church (Highland, MI) spoke to over 90 pastors on being a church of action and reaching out to the community. The pastors were eager to learn and very appreciative to be able to attend the conference free-of-charge.

Touching Lives

A group of 14 young adults from Desert Springs Church (Chandler, AZ) came out to serve with us as our first mission team of the year. They ministered to kids at the Disabled Center, prayed and encouraged patients at the local hospital, and brought hope and healing to many lives through relationship evangelism. The team was touched by the people of South Africa and learned what it means to love unconditionally . God did amazing things in and through the team!
