Over 300 students from 17 schools participated in our first IMPACT of 2010. In partnership with Leadership Summit, IMPACT is designed to promote leadership development in the youth of QwaQwa. The theme for the day was Flash Point: Igniting a radical life change through the power of God. Learner's walked away knowing that they are full of potential, purposed by God, and able to impact the world around them by choosing a lifestyle of leadership.

“I have learned that God is everything. He is the key to your success. God really loves you and He won’t turn His back on you cuz He is your Father”
   Mantlaletsi Ramonnana, age 14

“I have learned that no matter what your problems are if you open your heart for God, then God will help you because He loves us.”
   Meshake Modiehi, age 15

Intern Adventures

Lunchpad

Our Twenty4Seven interns have had a month of ministry and just-for-fun adventures! They've begun teaching our village discipleship classes and had over 160 participants the first week. Here's what the interns have to say about this new opportunity and challenge:

"My Launch Pad students are humble but passionate and earnestly seek Christ in their lives. They are beautiful young girls who will grow to be beautiful women of God"
   Alicia

Teaching LaunchPad challenges me to come out of my comfort zone and to care more about them then myself""
   Jessica

In addition, the interns went rappelling off of Mount Everest on our mission base. It was a great time of team building and helped the interns apply principles of trust on a whole new level.
